Bush Flip Flopped on testifying before the 9/11 Commission. First he refused to testify, then he agreed to testify for just one hour, then he agreed to more time if Cheney came with him.
According to an article on FoxNews.com:
"Bush first opposed creating the commission and then opposed extending its life. He also initially opposed having Rice testify in public. And he at first said he would only meet with the chairman and vice chairman of the panel, and only for an hour. But he relented on all counts."
This issue has been largely forgotten in the months since this occurred, but why was Bush so reluctant to testify?
