Number Seven
Bush Flip Flopped on letting Condoleeza Rice testify before the 9/11 Commission. First he opposed it, then he allowed it.
According to an article on FoxNews.com:
"After weeks of saying it wouldn't allow Rice to testify, citing separation of powers concerns, the White House conceded to the panel's calls for her to publicly appear."
Before this flip flop, White House spokesman Scott McClellan called it "a
matter of principle" that Rice would not testify - another example of the Bush
administration sacrificing principle to political expediency.
